Molly Nelson graduated
from Northwestern University with a degree in Economics and received
her MBA from Stanford Business School in 2002. She most recently
served as Director of Strategy for the Gap’s Old Navy brand,
where she managed the launch of the school uniform business, developed
a new and highly successful Fit strategy in the Boys & Girls
divisions, and managed an in-depth quantitative research effort
around the company’s Pricing and Promotional strategy.
Prior to attending Stanford, Molly was the Director
of Business Development for Quisic, an LA-based distance learning
company, where she established the corporate training and content
licensing businesses and helped grow the company from 4 to over
300 employees. Immediately following her college graduation, Molly
also worked as a Business Analyst for consulting firm McKinsey & Company,
where she served clients in the consumer product and media/entertainment
industries.
Katherine Walker Buxton, a graduate
of Georgetown University and Stanford Business School, has worked
in the fashion industry since 1997. Originally a New York- based
investment banker, Katherine’s mind for business and love
for fashion led her to the world’s fastest growing retailer,
Old Navy, where she worked in Merchandising and Planning for over
three years.
After receiving her MBA in 2002, Katherine accepted
a position as the Business Development Manager for Philadelphia-based
Lilly Pulitzer. Over the next year, Katherine developed and launched
Lilly Pulitzer’s first handbag collection, negotiated Lilly’s
first jewelry licensee, and re-launched Lilly Pulitzer’s
Home Collection. In June 2003, Katherine was promoted to Retail
Development Manager and developed the roll-out strategy for the
company’s stores. |
